OUR FOUNDATION
At Gilchrest Group NC, our story begins with a pivotal moment when Sawyer Gilchrest’s parents met Randy Scott of Setting Sun Patios and Decks. Inspired by that encounter, an eight-year-old Sawyer started offering lawn care services with a homemade trailer hitched to his bicycle.

By 14, Sawyer joined his father, Scott Gilchrest, to co-found Perspective Landscape Solutions, where he gained hands-on experience and a deep understanding of client care. These early lessons shaped Gilchrest Group NC, founded in January 2024 to deliver innovative land management solutions.
Built with family in mind
EXPERIENCE TO EXPERTISE
Sawyer’s journey blends hands-on expertise with academic pursuits. While working in the field, he is also earning a degree in Horticultural Science at NC State University, set to graduate in December 2025. This combination of practical skills and advanced knowledge drives Gilchrest Group NC’s client-focused approach.
